Domingo tests Covid positive

Bangladesh cricket team head coach Russell Domingo has tested positive for Covid-19.

Domingo was showing symptoms of Covid-19 infection a day before the Port Elizabeth Test began. He gave his sample for a PCR test but the result came out negative. But on Sunday in the antigen test result he tested positive.

The team arrived in Port Elizabeth from Durban on 5 April. But Domingo arrived in Port Elizabeth a day before the team. Domingo was not staying in the team hotel as he was staying with his family at his residence in the city. Domingo was going to team training from his home.

Due to his sickness, Domingo hasn’t been present in the dressing room.
