Former Sri Lankan cricketer Russel Arnold said, “The race for semis is still open ... have their semi hopes still in their hands #CWC2019 #CWC19 The others outside top 4 will need other results to go their way.”
Kiwi cricket commentator Danny Morrison congratulated Bangladesh team for the enormous victory.
He tweeted, “Congrats @BCBtigers with a tremendous chase. Well done @Sah75official & Liton Das #backtoback100s for the Shak!”
India cricketer and cricket analyst VVS Laxman saw the chase an amazing task. He said, “Congrats @BCBtigers on the win. Amazed to see how easy they chased down such a mammoth total. @Sah75official played with lot of responsibility to get his 2 consecutive 100 but I was very impressed with the maturity shown by young Liton Das.”
Another India cricket and commentator Harsha Bhogle praised Bangladesh a lot.
“Bangladesh have the class, and crucially, the attitude to get these. Will have to combat all the short-pitched bowling that will come their way. Good match in prospect,” he tweeted.
