Bangabandhu BPL: Know the names of 7 teams

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has approved names of seven teams to participate in Bangabandhu BPL scheduled to start on 11 December.
The 7 teams are Dhaka Platoon, Chattogram Challengers, Rajshahi Royals, Sylhet Thunder, Khulna Tigers, Rangpur Rangers and Cumilla Warriors.
The T20 tournament would be arranged by BCB itself as there would be no franchises this year as part of Father of The Nation Bangabandhu Shiekh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centenary celebration.
Countdown of the centenary would be started through the grand opening ceremony of the tournament. Prime minister Sheikh Hasina would inaugurate the tournament on 8 December.
The players’ draft for the tournament would be held on Sunday evening at a city hotel. As many as 181 local and 439 international players will be chosen by the teams.
Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Mushfiqur Rahim, Tamim Iqbal and Mahmudullah Riyad were drafted into the A+ category, which sets the price at Tk 5 million.
Soumya Sarker, Mustafizur Rahman, Mominul Haque, Imrul Kayes, Mosaddek Hossain, Liton Das, Taijul Islam, Mohammad Mithun and Mehidy Hasan Miraj were drafted into A category, which sets the price at Tk 2.5 million.
The base price for players of B grade will be Tk 1.8 million while for C, D and E grade players that would be Tk 1.2 million, Tk 800,000 and Tk 500,000 respectively.
