Film fest starts today at SAU

A four-day film festival will begin at the teacher-student centre on Sylhet Agricultural University (SAU) campus in Sylhet on Sunday, reports UNb.

Sylhet Agricultural University Film Society will organise the festival for the second time to inspire the filmmakers to make quality films.

The festival will feature 97 selected films from 122 countries.

Besides, five full-length films will be featured in the festival. Everyone can enjoy films from 11:00am to 7:00pm every day.

Filmmakers Arshaf Shishir, Muktadir Ibne Salam, and actor Manaj Kumar will be the jury of the festival while eminent film consultant Premendra Mazumdar will be the adviser. 

'Akhi O Tar Bandhura' by Morshedul Islam will feature on the inaugural day of the festival at 5:00pm.
