The Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations, scheduled to be held on Saturday across the country, have been deferred due to cyclone Bulbul which is approaching to the costs.

Chairman of Dhaka Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, M Ziaul Haque, confirmed this to Prothom Alo on Friday night.

"Saturday's JSC examination will be held on 12 November while the JDC exam on 14 November," he said.

The JSC and its equivalent JDC examinations began on 2 November across the country, with the participation of 2,661,682 examinees.

Examinees of both JSC and JDC were scheduled to sit for mathematics examination on Saturday at 10:00am.
