Education minister Dipu Moni on Monday said in-person classes in educational institutions may be shut down once again, if necessary, due to the omicron variants.
Dipu Moni came up with this remark while attending an event at International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka.
She said, "We are observing the situation. If we think it is necessary to bring down the number of classes to protect our students' health, we will do that. We will stop taking in-person classes, if necessary. Everything will be adopted in line with the necessity."
