Earlier, a senior official at the Dhaka Education Board, speaking on condition of anonymity, told Prothom Alo that a proposal had been sent to the education ministry to release the results on 10 July.

He later confirmed to Prothom Alo that the results would be published on that day.

This year’s SSC and equivalent examinations began on 10 April 2025.

A total of 1,928,970 students — including both regular and irregular candidates — took part in the exams. This is approximately 100,000 fewer candidates compared to 2024.

However, the number of absent candidates was higher this year. For example, on the first day of the SSC and equivalent examinations, 26,928 candidates were absent under the 11 education boards. In other words, they had completed the registration process but did not appear for the exam.
