The results of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published on today (Thursday), said education minister Dipu Moni.

“The results of the SSC and its equivalent examinations will be published on Thursday from Bangabandhu International Conference Centre. Prime minister Sheikh Hasina will join the event virtually,” said the education minister on Tuesday, UNB reports.

She said this while talking to reporters after attending a programme at the National Academy for Educational Management (NAEM).

Dipu Moni said she would announce the details of the results later in the day.

Inter-Education Board Coordination Sub-Committee said in a press release on Wednesday that the results will be released at 12:00pm through the websites of the education boards. Candidates are advised to collect results from their respective centres or educational institutions. In addition, they will be able to collect results through the website of the Education Boards Bangladesh www.educationboard.gov.bd. The results can also be obtained through text message to 16222.

The much-awaited Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations started on 14 November and completed on 23 November with some 2.2 million students appearing in the exams.

The examinations were held with short syllabuses on three elective subjects on a group basis.

Educational institutions across the country were closed in March last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the closure was extended several times.
