Qualifications
Essential
Master's degree in any discipline preferably in economics, agribusiness, agriculture or livestock.
At least five years demonstrated work experiences in community mobilization, partner management and economic empowerment / food security / livelihood / market development.
Experience in implementing gender transformative projects will get advantage. Experience in vocational education and apprenticeship programs are preferred.
Basic understanding about prevailing socio-economic scenario of marginalized people in Bangladesh, particularly in coastal region; knowledge on the previous and ongoing youth employment opportunities/ livelihood in the country context;
In -depth understanding on Gender dimension in youth economic empowerment issues demonstrating gender and age specific economic opportunity, unpaid care work; ability to challenge gender stereotype IGA and integrate empowerment piece in youth economic programme.
Knowledge of child-rights programming, child protection (programmatic and safeguarding), and gender transformative programme.
Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing, and monitoring of Youth Economic Empowerment Livelihood program.
Demonstrated experience in job market scanning, service market assessment, market Mapping and business plan development.
Desirable:
Ability to analyze community needs and income generation opportunities for the marginalized people to support economic development.
Ability to lead implementation, monitoring and supervision of development projects.
Ability to formulate and manage budgets, conduct financial analysis, and reporting.
Ability to designing and preparing training and learning aids and materials including modules, manuals, booklets, leaflets, posters and video documentations.
Excellent reporting skills
Skills in organization and facilitation of training and workshops for different stakeholders
Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
Good ICT and strong computer literacy skills.
Willingness to ride motorcycle.
