RU accords reception to freshers

The authorities of Rajshahi University (RU) on Tuesday accorded reception to the freshers, first year students of 2017-2018 academic session, amid much enthusiasm and festivity, reports UNB. 

RU vice-chancellor professor M Abdus Sobhan addressed the reception programme held at Kazi Nazrul Islam auditorium as the chief guest while pro vice-chancellor professor Ananda Kumar Saha was in the chair.
Student's adviser professor Zannatul Ferdous delivered a welcome speech at the beginning of the programme while registrar professor MA Bari moderated it.
Among others, public relation office administrator professor Probhash Kumar Karmakar, proctor professor Lutfor Rahman and treasurer professor AKM Mustafizur Rahman were present at the programme.
On behalf of the freshers, Shuvo Biswas of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology department and Quantum Koiborto of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology department spoke at the programme.
