Nine more cases were filed against the Daily Star editor Mahfuz Anam in Chandpur Gazipur, Manikganj, Comilla, Mymensign, Rajbari, Gaibandha, Chittagong on Wednesday.
With this, the number of cases filed against the journalist rose to 67.
Twenty cases were filed in a single day on Tuesday, 17 cases on Monday and 13 on Sunday last.
Another five cases were filed on 9 and 11 February.
The cases were filed with different magistrate courts in different districts of the country.
All the cases were filed by leaders and activists of ruling Awami League, its student wing Bangladesh Chhatra League, pro-government organisations and pro-AL lawyers.
