Army Chief off to China on 4-day official visit

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman left Dhaka on Thursday for China on a four-day official visit.

The Army Chief will hold courtesy meetings with senior civilian and military officials of China and will exchange views aimed at strengthening bilateral military cooperation, an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release said.

General Waker-Uz-Zaman is scheduled to return home on 27 August.
