15 die of dengue, 2,950 hospitalised

Fifteen more people have succumbed to dengue in the last 24 hours until 8:00 am on Wednesday, raising the total death toll to 958 this year.

Of the deaths, 365 have been reported in the current month alone.

Besides, a total of 2,950 people — 726 in Dhaka and 2,224 in districts — have been admitted to hospitals during the period, according to the health directorate.

A staggering 196,831 people have so far been hospitalised with dengue this year.
