A four-member delegation team of BNP has met visiting Rory Mungoven, the head of UN Human Rights Commission's (OHCHR) Asia-Pacific section.
The delegation led by BNP human rights affairs secretary Asaduzzaman held a 50-minute long meeting with Mungoven at Hotel intercontinental in Dhaka on Wednesday.
Following the meeting, Asaduzzaman said they have discussed and explained the human rights situation in Bangladesh in the light of media reports.
When asked, he said, "He listened to our statements. But he will not give us any feedback. The UN high commission for human rights has a press conference with you (journalist) in the evening - where he might come up with the disclosure."
