FE editor Moazzem Hossain passes away

Editor of The Financial Express AHM Moazzem Hossain passed away in Dhaka on Wednesday. He was 72.

The veteran journalist breathed his last around 6:15pm at Square Hospital.

Moazzem Hossain had been suffering from lung-related diseases for several months.

Journalists in Dhaka expressed deep shock at the demise of founding editor of the country's first English language financial daily.

He left behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives to mourn his death.
