Lightning strike kills 2 in Noakhali

Two men were killed after being struck by lightning at Lalchar in Hatia upazila of Noakhali on Wednesday morning, reports UNB.

The deceased were identified as Mohammad Kamruzzaman, 42, and Abul Kalam, 50, of the upazila.

Zia Ali Mobarak, chairman of Burirchar union parishad, said Kamruzzaman and Kalam died on the spot when lightning struck them. They were going to the pastureland with cattle around 9:00am.
