TIB awards investigative journalism

Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) has awarded investigative journalism for 2022 marking the International Anti-Corruption Day.

Prothom Alo's senior reporter Asaduzzaman received this award on the national level in the print category.

The awards were presented at a function at the TIB office in capital’s Dhanmondi on Friday.

Asaduzzaman received the awards for a series report on cybercrime.

On the regional level Daily Purbanchal staff reporter Abul Hasan and in the electronic media category Jamuna Television’s investigation team editor Apurba Alauddin won the award.

Meanwhile, on the documentary category the award went to Channel 24’s ‘Searchlight’ programme.
