Leaders of Dhaka Reporters' Unity (DRU) on Tuesday demanded exemplary punishment of those responsible for the attack on journalists during the clash between Dhaka College students and New Market traders last night.
DRU president Nazrul Islam Mithu and its general secretary Nurul Islam Hasib in a statement urged the law enforcers to arrest the attackers as soon as possible.
They also added that the attack on journalists during discharging their professional duties is not acceptable in no way.
