2716 more edu institutions added in MPO list

A total of 2,716 more educational institutions were newly included in the list of Monthly Payment Order (MPO), said education ministry’s senior public relations officer MA Khayer to newspersons on Wednesday.

Earlier, in 2019, the government announced to include over 2,700 educational institutions in the MPO list.

Teachers and employees of the newly enlisted MPO educational institutions will receive their basic salary and a portion of the allowances from the government every month.

Before 2019, the government included 1674 educational institutions in the MPO list in 2010.
