Bodies of two newborns recovered in Chattogram

Police recovered the bodies of two newborns from a drain at Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) on Tuesday, reports UNB.

Sub-inspector Nurul Islam Ashique, in-charge of CMCH, said the authorities concerned spotted the bodies on the slab of the drain while cleaning it around 10:00 am.

One of the bodies was decomposed while another was found wrapped in a polythene bag, he said. Panchlaish police station has been informed about the recovery of the bodies.
