46 relatives of US-Bangla plane crash victims reach Kathmandu

An aircraft of US-Bangla Airlines, carrying 46 relatives of the victims of a deadly crash of its another airliner at Tribhuvan International Airport in Nepal, reached Kathmandu on Tuesday morning, reports UNB.

The special flight of the airlines that left Dhaka for Nepal around 9:02am with 46 relatives on board landed at the airport around 10:40am, said Md Kamrul Islam, general manager, marketing support and PR of US-Bangla Airlines.

The pilot of the crashed US-Bangla airliner, Abid Sultan, succumbed to his injuries early Tuesday, raising the death toll to 50.

The aircraft, which was carrying 67 passengers - 32 from Bangladesh, 33 from Nepal and one each from China and the Maldives- crashed in Nepal. There were four crew members on board.
