Expatriate’s house looted in Savar

Robbers looted valuables from a house in Genda Rajbari area of Savar upazila, on the outskirts of the capital early Thursday.

A gang of robbers entered the house of Nur Mohammad, a Saudi Arabia expatriate, breaking open the window grill on the 2nd floor of a five-story building and looted valuables including Tk 150,000 and 30 tolas of gold ornaments, police said.

Savar Model police station officer-in-charge Mohsinul Quader said there were no people in the house during the robbery, reports UNB.

On information, police visited the spot.
