Truck hits auto-rickshaw, kills 4

Four people were killed after a truck hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Pakundia upazila of Kishoreganj on Saturday morning.

Auto-rickshaw driver Sharif and shoe-seller Khokon died on the spot as the truck hit the vehicle on Mathkhola-Katiadi road near Mandarkandi Girls High School around 8:30am, said police.

Injured Razia Khatun died under treatment at Katiadi upazila Health Complex while Wahid Mia succumbed to his injuries on the way to Dhaka.

Ahutia investigation centre in-charge Md Shafiqul Islam said they seized the truck.
