Fire at refrigerator warehouse in Gazipur

A fire broke out at the warehouse of Minister Refrigerator of MyOne Electronics at Dheerasram in Gazipur city on Friday, reports UNB.

Mamunur Rashid, deputy assistant director of Gazipur fire service and civil defense, said the fire broke out around 7:15am on the top floor of a five-storey building and quickly spread to an adjacent building.

Thick black smoke was seen billowing out of the two buildings.
Six firefighting units are trying to extinguish the blaze.

The cause of the fire could not be known yet.

No causality has so far been reported and it was not immediately clear if anyone was trapped inside.
