Teenager arrested for 'raping' schoolgirl

A young man was arrested for violating a second grader schoolgirl at Phulbari village in Magura's Mohammadpur upazila on Sunday, reports UNB.

The arrestee is Sadirul Islam, 19, son of Kalam Mollah of the village.

Tarok Nath Biswash, officer-in-charge of Mohammadpur police station, said Sabirul entered the house of the victim in the afternoon and raped her while she was alone at her home.

Hearing her cry, local people rushed in and rescued the girl while Sabirul managed to flee.

Later, a case was filed in this connection and police arrested Sabirul.
