Panchagarh-bound train leaves station without a coach, mounting suffering for home goers
A Panchagarh-bound passenger train, Ekota Express, left Kamalapur railway station without a coach -with many homebound passengers onboard.
The train left Kamalapur station at 11:00 am on Monday.
Earlier at 10:00 am, an announcement was made in which it was said, “It was not possible to attach "Ta" coach to the intercity Ekota Express train. Passengers who purchased tickets for the coach are kindly requested to return the tickets at counter number 5 and collect the refund.”
Kamalapur railway station manager Mohammad Masud Sarwar could not be reached as his phone was switched off.
However, when he was asked about the hassle by a group of reporters who were present at the station, he said, “We tried our best to accommodate the passengers. We would manage if there was an available coach in the station.”
