Clash between rival factions of AL breaks out in Cumilla

A clash broke out between two rival factions of ruling Awami League in Chauddagram of Cumilla on Tuesday morning.

The transport movement on Dhaka-Chattogram highway stopped as the clash between the supporters of Cumilla-11 constituency MP Mazibul Hoque and former mayor of Chauddagram municipality Md Mizanur Rahman over establishing supremacy was underway as of filing of this report.

The clash broke out in Chauddagram upazila health complex area at around 10:00 am.
