BNP to hold rallies in all metropolitan cities on 18 March

BNP standing committee member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain said his party will hold rallies in all metropolitan cities on 18 March.

He made the announcement at a human chain in the capital's Badda area on Saturday.

Different anti-government parties and alliances including BNP have been organising simultaneous programmes since 24 December. As part of that, the party will hold rallies.

After holding road march programmes in union, thana, district and metropolitan areas, BNP holds the human chain along the road to press home their 10-point demand including the resignation of the government.

In the capital Dhaka, BNP will hold the human chain from Jatrabari in the south to Abdullahpur of Tongi in the north for one hour today, Saturday.
