BRAC Bank, Shanta Securities sign custodial agreement

Photo: CollectedBRAC Bank Limited and Shanta Securities Limited have signed a custodial agreement, says a press statement.

Under this agreement BRAC Bank, according to the press release on Sunday, will be extending its custodial services to Shanta Securities Limited’s foreign clients who are planning to invest in the Bangladesh capital market.

Shanta will also be introducing foreign potential custodial clients to BRAC Bank and will also provide brokerage services to the clients.

Tareq Refat Ullah Khan, head of corporate banking at BRAC Bank Limited, and SM Habibur Rahman, chief operating officer at Shanta Securities Limited, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Jabedul Alam, head of trade development and cash management, Fahim Ishtiaque Hossain, unit head of trade development & cash management at BRAC Bank Limited and Md Abdur Rahim, head of IT at Shanta Securities Limited, along with other officials from both the organizations were present at the signing ceremony in Dhaka on 19 March.
