Daraz to recruit 1,500 employees

Country’s largest online marketplace Daraz Bangladesh Limited (daraz.com.bd) is organising the Eleven Eleven (11.11) campaign for the second time.

This time, the company is recruiting around 1,500 employees, according to a press release. This initiative has been specially taken to ensure the maximum quality service for the customers during the upcoming campaign.

Eleven Eleven campaign is the world’s largest online shopping festival, which is 18 times bigger than Amazon Prime Day and 2.5 times bigger than Black Friday, the press release said.

The press release further said the company has set a record in the country's history by appointing a big number of people for a one-day campaign.

All over the country, Daraz has recruited 21 part-time collection point agents, 200 operators, 732 riders, 45 drivers, 300 customer service agents, and 50 full-time executives in different departments such as marketing, commercial, and operations.

“We are recruiting a huge number of manpower to give the customers the best e-commerce experience during the world's biggest sale, 11.11. We believe this year's Eleven Eleven campaign will be memorable for them,” said Daraz Bangladesh Limited managing director Syed Mostahidal Hoq.
