Actress Diti on life support
Popular Bangladeshi film actress Parvin Sultana Diti has been kept on life support at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Madras Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology (MIOT) hospital.
Lamia, daughter of the ailing actress who had a brain surgery on 3 November, said this on her Facebook status.
According to the Facebook status of Lamia, Diti needs one more surgery, but her condition remains critical. She asked the countrymen to pray for her mother's quick recovery.
Diti underwent her first brain surgery at MIOT on 29 July this year, after she fell sick in Dhaka and was diagnosed with a brain tumor.
She returned to Dhaka on 20 September and a month later was admitted to the Square Hospital when she fell sick again.
Diti was working in two serials - Life in a Metro and Meghe Dhaka Shohor - and the film Raja Babu directed by Bodiul Alam Khokon before falling sick.
