'Noor Jahan', a Bangladesh-India joint venture film will be released on 16 February (Friday), reports UNB.

The artistes of the movie were introduced as part of promotion of the film at a press briefing held at the Dhaka Club in the city on Monday.

Raj Chakraborty from India, Abdul Aziz from Bangladesh, and two protagonists of the movie - Adritya Roy and Puja Cherry - were present there.

The movie is directed by Abhimanyu Mukherjee and produced by Raj Chakraborty.

The film features newcomer Adritya Roy as Noor and Puja Cherry as Jahan in lead roles. The story was written by Abhimanyu Mukherjee and script by Sauvik Basu.

Raj Chakraborty, an Indian film director and actor who is producing the joint venture film for the first time with this film, said "We are introducing a maiden couple in the film as we always search for something different and new. Debutants are always dedicated to their works. I think this film will be a different production."

He also claimed, "We do not make the opportunity for the newcomers for budget cut. To make a good film, the budget does not matter, but good stories with good content matters. So we focus on the good film, not budget."

Adritya and Puja urged all to enjoy the movie in cinema houses to judge their performance.

The movie was produced under the banners of Raj Chakraborty Production of India and Jaaz Multimedia of Bangladesh and co-produced by SVF Entertainment.

The other actors are Tulika Basu, Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Kharaj Mukherjee, Rajatava Dutta and Rinku Rajguru.
