Sabila Nur announces marriage

The model and actress confirmed the wedding day to be held on 25 October to Prothom Alo on Monday morning.

The lucky chap, Nehal Sunando Taher, a broadcast engineer at a private TV channel, has been a friend to Sabila in the beginning. They decided to get married later. They met through a mutual friend three years back.

Nehal approached Sabila's mother a year ago and asked for her daughter's hand in marriage.

“He asked for my hand to my mother. My mother told us to take some time. Both families came to the decision and agreed to the marriage three months ago. They wedding date has been fixed for 25 October. Our reception will be held on the 27th,” the actress told Prothom Alo.

Speaking about Nehal, Sabila said, he has been a very good friend and understands her well.

“He was by my side through my hard times. He is very supportive to my work, too. I am very lucky to have my best friend as my husband. Please pray for me,” she added.

Nehal is from Chandpur. His father late Abu Taher has worked as the deputy director general at Bangladesh Betar and mother is working as the coordinator of Milestone School and College. Nehal is their younger son.

Nabila, from Chattogram, is the younger child of information ministry’s additional secretary Nurul Karim.

The actress earned enormous popularity through her acting on the small screen in recent years. She has worked in some TVC adds since her debut in the industry as well.
