A heatwave sweeps across different parts of the country, causing intense suffering to the people.

The temperature in Chuadanga is comparatively higher than anywhere else in the country. People are taking shelter in the shade of the trees while some immerse themselves in water to escape the scorching heat. These photographs were taken on 15 April.
