The coaching staff of Uruguay national football team have not yet been informed about the seriousness of the injuries received by Edinson Cavani and James Rodriguez during the second round game against Portugal, reports news agency IANS.

"So far, I had no chance to talk to medics," Tabarez was quoted as saying by TASS news agency.

"We don't have a lot of time to recover. Right now, we are all concerned, but we don't know how serious the injury is," he added.

A brace from Cavani (in the 7th and 62nd minutes) secured Uruguay a place in the World Cup quarter-finals on Saturday. Uruguay will take on France in Nizhny Novgorod on July 6.
