Tamim joins 10,000 club
Opener Tamim Iqbal boasts most of Bangladesh’s batting records. On Saturday, he added another feather to his crown, by becoming the first batsman to score 10,000 international runs.
In Test cricket, the Chittagong star has 3,777 runs while in the T20s he has made 1,202 thus far.
At the end of the 34th over in the first ODI against Sri Lanka, Tamim had 5206 runs to his name in the one-dayers.
