The third and final T20 between Bangladesh and Pakistan was washed out on Monday, denying the Tigers a chance to end the first phase of their tour on a high.
Bangladesh lost the first game by seven wickets and the second one by nine wickets, much to the agony of their fans.
They were rooting for a win for the Tigers to salvage some pride, but rain denied them the chance, or given their poor form, may be saved them from a whitewash.
Pakistan captain Babar Azam was named the Man of the Series.
The series win helped Pakistan hang on to their number one ranking in Twenty20 internationals with 270 points, leading Australia by just one point, AFP adds.
Bangladesh will go to Pakistan again next month, to play a Test on 7-11 February while the sides will play an ODI and another Test in April.
