The government has relaxed the maximum age of jobseekers by 39 months once again for applying for all government jobs, says a directive of the public administration ministry on Thursday.
According to the directive, different ministries, divisions, directorates and offices could not publish their circulars for jobs in different categories due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Therefore, the candidates, who turned 30 on 25 March in 2020, will be deemed eligible to apply for the jobs under the circulars of those institutions to be published as of 30 June in 2023.
A request has been made to the authorities concerned to take necessary steps regarding the matter.
Earlier, the government relaxed the age-limit of job seekers in two phases due to the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the age relaxation wasn’t applied to the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination.
