Islamic University exams to be held online

The authorities of the Islamic University (IU) have decided to take honours and masters final examinations online, IU pro vice-chancellor professor Mahbubur Rahman confirmed Wednesday.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the deans committee on Tuesday afternoon chaired by IU vice-chancellor professor Shaikh Abdus Salam.

He said, “The meeting has unanimously approved the online examinations. Final policies have been sent to the respective departments regarding the online examinations. The departments may start taking their exams at any time if they want.”

Pro vice-chancellor Mahbubur Rahman, treasurer Alamgir Hossain Bhuiyan, registrar in-charge M Ataur Rahman, controller of examinations (acting) AK Azad Lavlu and all faculty deans participated at the online event.
