University admission: Cluster system test set to be deferred
The cluster system university admission test for 20 universities--general and science and technology--is not being held as per the schedule due to the surge in the Covid-19 cases.
Even, the authorities concerned could not fix the new date yet due to the extension of restrictions to curb the coronavirus infection.
The entry test is supposed to be held in three separate days—starting from 19 June to the first week of July—in three divisions.
The vice chancellor of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) in Sylhet, professor Farid Uddin Ahmed, told Prothom Alo that there is no way but to reschedule the admission test. The work on primary application has yet to be finished.
Given the situation, the postponement of cluster entry test will be made public on next Friday through a meeting, he added.
