Around 98pc pass PEC, Ebtedayee exams

The results of this year’s Primary Education Completion (PEC) and Ebtedayee examinations were published on Monday, showing 97.59 and 97.69 pass percentages respectively, reports UNB.

A total of 3,68,193 PEC students obtained GPA-5 while 12,264 Ebtedayee students obtained the highest grade.

Primary and mass education minister Mostafizur Rahman announced the results at a press briefing at the Secretariat.

Earlier, the minister handed over a copy of the results to prime minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganabhaban in the morning.
