Bangladeshi student shot dead in US

A Bangladeshi student was shot dead by unidentified people in Wichita city of Kansas, United States, on Saturday night.

Deceased M Hasan Rahman Badhan was also a pizza deliverer.

In a press briefing on Monday morning, Wichita city police said a body of 26-year-old Bangladeshi student was found inside his car in front an apartment building in Central Rock Road there.

Police confirmed that Badhan was a Pizza deliverer in the area.

Police assumed that the miscreants abandoned Badhan’s body in the area after they shot him to death.

Police sought help from the community members in this regard.

Badhan, however, went to the US seven years ago for pursuing higher education.

He completed his associate degree in mechanical engineering from Butler Community College.

He was scheduled to be admitted into Kansas University in next session.

Badhan’s childhood friend Naim said Badhan was doing the pizza delivery job for last two months.

Naim also said he used to return home around 12:30am every day.

“When he did not return home till Saturday dead night, I was worried and searched him in medical emergency centre of the different hospitals.”

Later police recovered his body, he added.
