Baby born miraculously during road crash admitted to hospital

The baby, who was born miraculously during a tragic road accident at Trishal in Mymensingh that killed her parents and a sibling, has been admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital on Monday night as the level of bilirubin increased in her blood meaning her liver is not functioning properly.

Md Shah Jahan, owner of Labib hospital in Mymensingh, who took responsibility of the newborn, confirmed the development.

A five-member medical board has been formed to ensure treatment of the baby.

Member secretary of the board, physician Nazrul Islam, said the baby is suffering from anemia and jaundice. Besides, she has developed breathing difficulties. The committee has already organised a meeting over the treatment of the baby.
