Tremor jolts country

A mild tremor jolted different parts of the country, including Dhaka and Chittagogng, on Tuesday afternoon.

Met Office sources said the earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter Scale was felt at 3:28pm.

The distance of the epicentre was 335 kms southeast of the Seismic Centre at Agargaon in capital.

However, there was no immediate report of damage or casualty.
