Sabila Noor is back to shooting just after completing her fourth semester finals. She was recently applauded for the drama ‘Chaka’. The small screen actress is now going to make her debut in a web series. Nur has talked about her career, studies and other activities with Prothom Alo.
Excerpts of the interview:
Prothom Alo: Your semester finals are over. When are you going to start shooting?
Sabila: I’ll start shooting from 19 December. The name of the drama is ‘Keno Emon Hoy’. I’ll shoot for many more dramas this month.
Prothom Alo: How was the public response for ‘Chaka’?
Sabila: 'Chaka' was telecast on Maasranga, SATV, Nagorik Television and Ekushey Television simultaneously on 14 December.
I will have a guest appearance in the drama. I really like Ashfaque Nipun’s work. I had a guest appearance in one of his projects earlier too. Just because it was Ashfaque Nipun’s drama, I worked on the day before my exam.
The work was praised and I was appreciated too.
Prothom Alo: Are you going to work for web series?
Sabila: I’ll do a web series directed by Ehsan Kabir. Nowadays everyone is focusing on web series. Unlike television, it does not have censorship issues. The story can be well presented. I am actually doing that series because of the script. Now that the wedding season is here, the set will be decorated like that of a wedding.
The shooting will start from the beginning of January.
Prothom Alo: Why aren’t you seen in any drama shot abroad?
Sabila: I don’t work in any drama with foreign locations. I got many offers though. I won’t work both at home and abroad. I think foreign places are perfect for visits and vacations.
Prothom Alo: You sing as well. Any plan to bring out an album?
Sabila: No, I don’t have such wish, but I may sing with any singer I am close to if they offer.
Prothom Alo: Are you involved in any love affair?
Sabila: Love affair! What’s that?!
Prothom Alo: What do you do when you wake up?
Sabila: I switch off my phone alarm.
Prothom Alo: If you were a journalist what would you ask actress Sabila?
Sabila: Why are you so naive?
