Advance train ticket sale begins

Hundreds of people thronged Kamalapur Railway Station on Wednesday to purchase train tickets in advance for travelling during the Eid-ul-Fitr, reports UNB.

Tickets for 31 May are being sold on the first day.

Tickets for 1, 2, 3 and 4 June will be available on 23, 24, 25 and 26 May respectively.

Besides, return tickets for  7, 8, 9, 10 and 11 June will be available on 29, 30, 31 May, 1 and 2 June respectively.

The sale began at 9:00am and will continue until 5:00pm. Each person will be able to buy a maximum of four tickets.

Eight pairs of special trains will run on different routes during the Eid.
