Road crash kills 2 of a family in Munshiganj

Two members of a family were killed on Tuesday as a sand laden truck hit a motor-cycle on Dhaka-Mawa highway in Keyotkhiya area of Sreenagar upazila in Munshiganj, reports UNB.

The deceased are Tuhin Shikdar, 40, and his brother-in-law Badshaa Hossain Mithu, 50.

Officer-in-charge of Hasara highway police out-post, Abdul Based said that the collision between the truck and the motor-cycle occurred when the truck was taking a U-turn injuring the duo severely.

After being taken to the hospital physicians declared them dead, said the OC.

Police seized the truck but its driver managed to flee, he said.
