A young man, who attempted suicide after allegedly stabbing his wife dead in Chattogram, succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday night, reports UNB.
The deceased was identified as Ovi Dhar, 28, a resident of Banshkhali upazila. Sitakunda police station's inspector (investigation) Sumon Banik said Ovi died while undergoing treatment at Chittagong Medical College and Hospital.
On 27 October, Ovi stabbed himself multiple times after allegedly killing his wife. Local residents rushed a seriously injured Ovi to the district hospital.
