6 die with fever, cold in Cumilla

Six people suffering from fever and cold-related problems, died at Comilla Medical College Hospital in the last 24 hours till Wednesday morning, UNB reports.

A total of 103 patients, including 45 COVID-19 patients, are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital, said its assistant director Sajeda Khatun.

Besides, 10 people, including four women, were undergoing treatment at the ICU, she said.

According to the civil surgeon’s office, 80 more people tested positive for COVID-19 in the district in the last 24 hours, bringing the tally to 5,360.

So far, 141 people have died of COVID-19 and cold-related problems while 3,563 people made full recovery.
