A kitchen market caught fire in Malibagh, Dhaka early Thursday, reports UNB.

The fire originated in a shop of Malibagh Kitchen Market around 5:27am, UNB quoted Mahfuz Riven, duty officer at the Fire Service and Civil Defence central control room, as saying.

On information, 12 firefighting units rushed in and brought the blaze under control around 6:35am, he added.

What actually caused the fire is still not clear, Mahfuz said, adding that there was no casualty in the fire.
